Dublin Crimewatch operates using a number of radio codes which range from calls for assistance to alerting other businesses on the network of potential dangers or threats of shoplifters in the area. All of which is communicated through the control room.

These codes are easy to learn and are of great use to businesses and security companies as it gives them the ability to talk freely over the radio system without alerting anyone to what is being communicated.

Dublin Crimewatch has spent a number of years refining these codes so that they are easy to use and easy to follow . This system has been implementing by many business and security firms throughout Dublin and is recognised for is simplicity but more so for its effectiveness in theft/crime prevention.
